Green Bay Packers Jerseys From there, you keep trying to climb the charts,” the veteran pass-rusher said.

Peppers has climbed those charts all season, all the way up to fifth on the all-time sacks list now with 142½. Peppers’ second-quarter sack of Houston QB Brock Osweiler on Sunday moved him out of a tie with Michael Strahan and into sole possession of fifth place.

With 6½ sacks so far this season, Cheap Jerseys Peppers’ 15th in the NFL, he has moved past John Randle, Richard Dent, Jason Taylor and now Strahan. Next up is Chris Doleman in fourth (150½), eight sacks away.

“It’s an honor,” said Peppers, not one to talk much about milestones and career achievements when he’s in the midst of playing. “It’s great company to be in, a great accomplishment and all those things. I got home and reflected a little bit on it.”

All of the aforementioned sack masters above and below Peppers on the all-time list are Pro Football Hall of Famers, except Taylor, who is eligible for the first time this year and is now a semifinalist.

It would seem Peppers is headed to the Hall of Fame as well, but again, it’s not an issue he gives a lot of thought to at the moment.

“Not yet, not yet,” he said. “That’s Cheap nfl Jerseys something that’s somewhat out of my control. I don’t really put a lot of focus and emphasis on it. I’m hoping, but we’ll see when the time comes for that in 10 years or so.”

His energies for the moment are being directed toward keeping the Packers’ two-game winning streak and late-season playoff push going. He feels the team is “building again” and “getting back on track.”

With one more sack, Peppers will reach seven for the ninth straight year, and for the 14th time in his 15-year career. Teammates marvel at his consistency over the course of such a long career as much as anything.

Peppers was not a full-time player Customized Jerseys earlier in the season, but the strategy of monitoring his snaps could be paying off, as the veteran has a sack in each of the last three games. It’s his first three-game sack streak since Weeks 4-6 of last season.

“I’m just trying to take advantage of the opportunities when I’m on the field,” he said. “I feel like you need to try to make something happen when you’re out there.

“I feel good. I’m rested.”

Rested enough to keep climbing for 200 sacks? That’s the number in the No. 1 spot, held by Bruce Smith.

“That’s a little ambitious, but who knows? Who knows,” he said.

“I don’t think so. Not for me, anyway. Somebody else, maybe.”

Oakland Raiders Jerseys Khalil Mack is primed and ready to carry the Oakland Raiders on a playoff run, beginning to build his legacy as an all-time great in the process.

In Week 16, the Oakland Raiders took a significant blow when quarterback Derek Carr suffered a broken fibula. As Khalil Mack walked alongside Carr as he hobbled off the field, Raider Nation’s collective hearts fell to their stomachs. The expected recovery time could range anywhere from 6-8 weeks and is currently a long-shot to play in the Super Bowl if the Raiders were to make it.

Most teams at this point would fold like a Cheap Jerseys lawn chair and call the season quits. The Raiders will not be one of those teams.

The Raiders still have something to play for in Week 17 as they will head to Mile-High to take on the Denver Broncos. Oakland can clinch a first-round bye with a win Sunday, and if the New England Patriots were to lose to the Miami Dolphins, the Raiders would clinch the #1 overall seed in the AFC playoffs.

From here on out, the Raiders will need to get better and more consistent production out of the defense. But, there is one person now the Raiders need to lean on from

Cheap nfl Jerseys Week 17 up until a potential Super Bowl Run.

Khalil Mack.

Mack has had a ‘Defensive Player of the Year’ type of season. He is currently tied for 7th in the NFL in sacks with 11, to go along with 68 total tackles, a career high 5 forced fumbles, and also his first first career interception in which he returned for a touchdown. Khalil has also received plenty of love from Pro Football Focus, grading out as the top-graded edge defender in the NFL with a grade of 93.8.

All the stars have aligned for Mack to have a ‘Von Miller’ type of playoff performance. Khalil has all the tools, physical ability and capability to carve out his own historic playoff performance. With the addition of Mario Edwards Jr. along with Bruce Irvin playing his best football in December, Mack now has the supporting cast he needs.

Khalil has a great chance to be impactful, starting in Denver. The Broncos offensive line is average at best, and let’s not forget the last time Mack went to Denver, he came away from 5 sacks and had arguably the best single-game performance in Raiders history.

This Sunday’s game has the potential to be a great momentum builder heading into the playoffs. It is up to the Raiders’ defense as to whether they want to capitalize, or if they want to get rolled over on like they have by multiple teams this season.

The Raiders’ total defense is currently ranked 28th, giving up nearly 377 yards per game. In terms of scoring defense, the Raiders are ranked 19th, giving up 24.1 points per game. Although these are not ideal numbers for a Super Bowl defense, the Raiders do rank 1st in turnover differential with a +18 margin, as well as outscoring opponents 42-3 within the final three minutes of the game.

Being able to take the ball away and not give

Customized Jerseys the ball back will be a telling story for this Raiders team going forward. Most media outlets are talking about Matt McGloin and the offense, when in the end they should be focusing on Khalil Mack and realize he could be on the verge of doing something very special in this years playoffs.

Kansas City Chiefs Jerseys The can-he-or-can’t-he debate rolls on when it comes to Alexander Douglas Smith, better known as Alex, the quarterback of the playoff-bound Kansas City Chiefs.

As in, can a QB who has thrown 13 touchdown passes all season lead a team to the Super Bowl?

Answers never seem to be ”yes” or ”no,” but rather accompanied by an ”if” clause: if the defense causes a turnover. Or if tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill are able to continually score game-breaking touchdowns, as they did last weekend against Denver.

One person has no doubt about Smith’s ability.

”Alex, I think, has had a good year. Cheap Jerseys
He’s had a good four years,” said Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who went on to call the Denver performance ”one of his better games since he’s been here.”

”That’s a tribute to him,” Reid added, ”because nobody works harder or spends more time at it. He’s very diligent to his work. It’s always good to see him play well.”

Statically speaking, it was indeed one of Smith’s best days. He was 25 of 36 for 244 yards and a touchdown, ran for 46 yards and another score and kept the Kansas City offense on track.

But he also threw an interception that led to the Broncos’ only touchdown, and many continue to argue that 244 yards passing is hardly a good day. This is an era when top-shelf quarterbacks expect to throw for 300-plus, and often toss three or four TD passes in a game.

Smith hasn’t thrown three touchdown passes in a game since the season opener – of last year.

Reid and other Smith supporters counter the critics by pointing out that he rarely makes a big mistake. He’s only thrown seven interceptions this season, wisely makes the smart choice when things are going haywire, and is content to let the Chiefs’ strong defense win games.

So far they have, too. The Chiefs are 11-4 heading into Sunday’s regular-season finale in San Diego, and can win the AFC West with a victory and an Oakland loss in Denver.

Naturally, the first question after

Cheap nfl Jerseys
clinching a playoff berth, which actually occurred earlier on Sunday, when Pittsburgh rallied past Baltimore, was how deep the Chiefs can go. That questions goes hand in hand with how far Smith can lead them.

He has never reached a Super Bowl, though he did get the 49ers to the doorstep. But that was before things went sideways in San Francisco; he lost his starting job to a concussion and Colin Kaepernick and wound up getting traded. He is now a 32-year-old quarterback with limited arm strength who may have lost a step, yet is still being asked to shoulder a significant burden.

Turns out Smith himself thinks his age is a reason for his success this season.

”When you play a long time, you appreciate winning and all the different ways to do it,” Smith explained. ”That’s what this game is about. It’s amazing, and it’s the highest of highs when you’re winning, you’re doing it well and you’re doing it together. The lows are crummy. It sucks to lose. Nobody likes it. You put a lot of work and a lot of time in and you want to bear fruit, so to speak.”

It’s been working in Kansas City. And there happens to be plenty of precedence for quarterbacks who didn’t put up gaudy touchdown numbers leading their teams to the Super Bowl, too.

As much as he’s heralded for his big arm, the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger threw just 17 TD passes in the regular season when he won the Super Bowl in 2009, and 17 of them in 12 starts when he won in 2006. Troy Aikman had 16 touchdown passes while starting every regular-season game in ’95, when he led the Cowboys to the title. He threw 15 in 14 starts when he won two years earlier.

So it seems the answer to the question
Customized Jerseys whether a quarterback who has managed 13 touchdown passes in a season can lead his team to a Super Bowl is affirmative.

Now, it’s up to Smith to turn that opportunity into a reality.

NOTES: Reid said that OLB Justin Houston continues to have ”some inflammation” in his surgically repaired left knee. He did not practice Wednesday. … RB Spencer Ware had an MRI exam that showed bruised ribs, but he was able to practice Wednesday and is optimistic about playing Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks Jerseys Perhaps the best way to sum up Jared Goff’s less-than-stellar night and the way it came to an abrupt end is to say this: At least it wasn’t Kam Chancellor who delivered the crushing hit that Goff might not even remember.

In what would be his last play of the 24-3 defeat against the Seahawks, the Rams rookie made a common and colossal mistake of many a young quarterback in the NFL — failing to avoid the oncoming and potentially injury-causing hit. It cost him the remainder of the game and possibly his next game.

With just more than nine minutes left in the game and his team down by 17, Goff moved the Rams into the red zone in search of their first touchdown of the game. On Cheap Jerseys second-and-10 from the Seahawks’ 17-yard line, Goff dropped back to pass. Seeing his receivers blanketed in coverage — as they had been most of the night — he scrambled away from the pressure toward the Seattle sideline. There was nothing but open space as he sprinted for the end zone along the sideline.

With eyes focused on a possible touchdown, he seemed oblivious to what was coming from his right — namely two founding members of Seattle’s Legion of Boom — Richard Sherman and Chancellor.

Perhaps fortunately for Goff and the Rams, the speedier Sherman got to him before the one-man freight train that is Chancellor could. Regardless, the result wasn’t good.

Sherman blasted the unsuspecting Cheap nfl Jerseys rookie, knocking Goff off his feet and 5 yards out of bounds. It elicited initial oohs followed by raucous cheers and, of course, a few taunting words from Sherman.

“We don’t give free meals,” he said. “So he had to feel it.”

Goff stayed on the ground for a few minutes and then slowly was helped to his feet. It initially looked as if he might stay in the game, but the NFL’s concussion spotters signaled down to the referees on the field and Goff was removed from the game.

After a brief period on the sideline with the Rams’ trainers, Goff was escorted to the locker room to undergo an evaluation for a possible concussion. Rams interim coach John Fassel confirmed Goff will go through mandatory concussion protocols set by the NFL.

“You admire his courage,” Fassel said, “but he’s just got to get out of bounds. Young quarterbacks don’t need to fight for an extra yard and he’ll learn that. But you just have to get out of bounds. It probably won’t ever happen again.”

Goff finished with 135 yards passing, hitting on 13 of 25 attempts and a 67.9 passer rating. He was sacked four times and hit about five other times, not counting his last play.

Goff’s ascension to the starting spot has been slow despite being selected as the No. 1 overall choice in the NFL draft out of California, where he put up video game-type numbers. Jeff Fisher, who was fired as the Rams coach earlier this week, opted to go with veteran Case Keenum early in the season, believing the talented Goff wasn’t quite ready to be an NFL starter. But with Keenum struggling and the Rams at 4-5, Fisher finally handed the job to the rookie.

Much as in his four previous starts, Goff showed flashes of promise, zipping a few nice completions. But he also exhibited extended periods of inconsistency, lack of pocket awareness and accuracy to where Fisher’s concerns of his readiness seemed viable. Goff also wasn’t helped by receivers,

Customized Jerseys who misplayed two sure touchdown passes.

“What I’ve learned about Jared, he’s really a tough kid,” Fassel said. “That will take him a really long ways. We just have to do more to help him out.”

Cheap Jerseys Derek Carr’s broken leg leaves Oakland Raiders reliant on back-up quarterback Matt McGloin
As Derek Carr fell to the turf with a broken leg, a celebratory day in Oakland immediately turned sombre.
The Raiders had suffered their most significant loss of the season.
Carr broke a bone in his right leg in the fourth quarter of the Raiders’ 33-25 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, immediately throwing a dark cloud over a resurgent season in Oakland.

‘Seeing him go down like that, it hurt us,’ Cheap nfl Jerseys linebacker Bruce Irvin said. ‘It didn’t even feel like we won.’
Carr got hurt with Oakland leading 33-14 early in the fourth quarter when he was sacked by Trent Cole. Carr stayed on the ground for several minutes in pain as trainers came out to treat him.
With the crowd chanting ‘M-V-P! M-V-P!’ Carr limped off the field without putting any pressure on his right leg. He was then taken away on a cart for X-rays which showed the break. Carr will have surgery on Sunday.
‘As soon as I got out there, he said, `I think it’s broken,’ coach Jack Del Rio said.
The injury changed the mood at the Coliseum as thoughts turned from the Raiders (12-3) possibly clinching the division with one more win or a Kansas City loss to wondering if an Customized Jerseys opportunity for a possible Super Bowl run was now lost.
‘It’s very sad,’ left tackle Donald Penn said. ‘I’m very disappointed in myself because it was my guy that got him. I’ve been great all year. I was engaged with my guy, I took another step and my foot just slipped from up under me. I wish I could have that play back.’
Carr had led a revival in Oakland since arriving as Oakland Raiders Jersey a second-round pick in 2014. After losing his first 10 games as a rookie, Carr has been a big part of the turnaround that has the Raiders in the playoffs for the first time since 2002.
He threw three TD passes on Sunday to give him 28 on the season and his seven fourth-quarter comebacks are the biggest reason behind Oakland’s success.
Now the team must prepare for a playoff run with Matt McGloin at quarterback. McGloin has not started a game since the end of the 2013 season with Carr starting all 47 games since he arrived.

Peppers versatility along with his ability to produce the big play when needed is strikingly similar to Polamalu who took home a defensive player of the year in 2010.

Often in Polamalu’s storied career, he would lineup as a nickel-back, playing the slot position or disguising himself as if he were in coverage when instead he would be rushing the passer. This is relevant due to the fact that we have seen Peppers run the exact same play style this season for the Wolverines. Mind you Peppers has notched 3.5 sacks and 7 QB hurries as a pass rusher this season while playing the role of Michigan own Swiss army weapon.

Peppers has is already an electric player who while confident in himself, is open and willing to be coached. Jim Harbaugh has stated:

“It’s just happened au naturel with Jabrill Peppers,” Harbaugh continued, committing either pun or malapropism, “because he does so much — he’s making tackles from the linebacker position, he’s blitzing, he’s covering, he’s returning kicks, returning punts, he’s playing quarterback, he’s playing receiver, he’s playing tailback. He’s so involved, it doesn’t have to be a forced thing. It’s au naturel.”

On top of receiving high praise from his coach, Customized Jerseys Peppers has done more than enough to solidify himself among the great players in college football totaling 66 tackles with 15 for loss, 3.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception along with over 150 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on offense.

Cheap Jerseys Listen up, Tom Brady, Charles Woodson has more to say about the ‘Tuck Rule’

Prepare yourself, Tom Brady — Charles Woodson may be retired, but he still plans on intercepting you.

Why? Well, your former University of Michigan teammate still has rather strong feelings about a certain play from the 2001 NFL playoffs when he dislodged the ball from your hand on a corner blitz, appearing to cause a turnover that would send Woodson’s Oakland Raiders to the AFC Championship Game.

“Game over, or so we thought,” Woodson recalls Cheap nfl Jerseys in the newest installment of NFL Network’s Emmy-nominated series A Football Life. “The more time went on, the more everybody on the sidelines was like, ‘I think we’re about to get screwed.’ That’s the worst call in the history of … all sports. All the air was let out of the Oakland Raiders. After that happened, we never recovered.”
Woodson is, of course, referring to the infamous “Tuck Rule,” Customized Jerseys which was abolished in 2013 but first ruined the Raiders’ Super Bowl aspirations in 2001 while helping launch Brady’s dynastic run with the New England Patriots.

“Tom owes me,” Woodson continues. “But you know what? Me and Tom have never talked about that play. And so I imagine maybe sometime, maybe I’ll just sit down with him in a lonely bar somewhere, just me and him, and I’ll just ask him point blank: ‘Tom, just tell me, if you could just tell everybody in the world what it was, what was it?’ I know what he would say.”

It’s just one memorable chapter from Woodson’s unique football Oakland Raiders Jersey journey. He remains the lone player to win the Heisman Trophy despite primarily playing defense, beating out Peyton Manning in 1997 for good measure. He’s the only player in NFL history to compile 20 career sacks and 60 interceptions (actually 65). His 13 defensive touchdowns are tied for most in league history.
However, forget the resume for a minute. Woodson retired after the 2015 season at age 39 as one of the NFL’s most respected leaders. But did you know how he was regarded when he entered the league as a first-round pick in 1998? He was the 2009 defensive player of the year for the Green Bay Packers and helped lead them to a Super Bowl title the following season. But did you know about his tense first meeting with Aaron Rodgers in 2006, or why coach Mike McCarthy almost suspended Woodson from the team?

“Don’t try to put me in a box, because I ain’t going,” Woodson admits in a candid look at his life, from a challenging childhood in Ohio to his ongoing philanthropy at Michigan.

And Woodson clearly had fun with this project, taking a more active storytelling role than some of NFL Films’ previous protagonists.

Kansas City Chiefs Jerseys While Maclin led the Chiefs in targets with 124 a year ago – 24 more than Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce, the next closest Chief – some of his opportunities have gone elsewhere in 2016.

Kelce, for instance, has caught a team-high 73 passes and, with 957 yards, is on the verge of his first 1,000-yard season. Fifth-round rookie receiver Tyreek Hill has emerged as one of the game’s most explosive all-around threats; he made the Pro Bowl as a returner but has caught 56 passes for 547 yards and a team-high six touchdowns, all while adding a big-play element previously lacking in the Chiefs’ offense.

Both Kelce (103 targets) and Hill (71) been targeted more than Maclin (67) has this year, and while Maclin’s aforementioned four-game absence has something to do with that, opponents have noticed.

“I’ll say it right now – it runs Cheap Jerseys through Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce,” Denver cornerback Chris Harris, Jr., said of the Chiefs’ offense this week. “No. 10 and No. 87.”

Harris’ opinion is understandable. Maclin was hurt the first time the two teams met, a 30-27 overtime thriller the Chiefs won, and Kelce and Hill lit the Broncos up. While Kelce caught eight passes for 101 yards, Hill caught nine passes for 52 yards and also scored touchdowns as a runner and a punt returner and seemed to earn Harris’ respect.

“They’ve got certain packages for Hill,” Harris said. “They’ve got screen passes, they give him the ball in handoff situations, they’ve got wildcat packages Cheap nfl Jerseys and they’re trying to get him the ball now in addition to Kelce.

“I can see that Maclin hasn’t been getting as many catches or touches like he has in the past. That’s because No. 10 has come into the picture.”

Maclin, for his part, says he understands why the Chiefs have been intent on using the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Hill, who boasts rare 4.24 speed and ball skills, to boot.

“You want to be able to have multiple guys who can hurt you and who can make plays for you,” Maclin said. “Ty coming on, and him being able to do some special things with the ball in his hands, and Kelce being a matchup problem, and me being Mr. Consistent, Mr. Reliable, that makes for a good dynamic.”

Nagy agreed, noting that the Chiefs Customized Jerseys have to establish as many threats as possible.

“If teams want to try to double two guys, you could get away with that,” Nagy said. “But when you have three, it’s harder – someone has to be singled.”

Bill Musgrave wants to get Amari Cooper more targetsCheap Jerseys Amari Cooper can make amazing things happen with the ball in his hands. In recent weeks, however, the Oakland Raiders wide receiver hasn’t had the ball in his hands much.

After eclipsing 100 receiving yards four times in the first eight games of 2016, he has not hit the century mark once since the midway point of the season. In three of the past four games, Cooper has put up more than 30 receiving yards just once.

Raiders offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave is making a concerted effort to feature Cooper more heavily moving forward.

“We need to make up for lost ground there,” Musgrave said, per CSN Bay Area’s Scott Bair.

The Raiders have to be smart and creative when it comes to getting Cooper the ball. They tried force-feeding him targets against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14, and the result was five receptions on 10 targets for a total of 29 yards.

Part of the problem is the fact that Cooper is drawing Customized Jerseys more attention from opposing defenses. The second-year receiver says he has seen more safeties shadowing him over the top and cornerbacks following him all over the field, per Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

This should create more opportunities for fellow Oakland Raiders Jersey wideouts Michael Crabtree and Seth Roberts, as well as Oakland’s other assorted pass catchers. The pressure is on Musgrave to either open things up for Cooper, or help quarterback Derek Carr disperse the ball to his other weapons.

Although they only scored 19 points, the Raiders did this well against the Chargers last Saturday. Cooper caught only one pass in that game, but Carr managed to connect with 10 different players in the close win.

More production from Cooper will undoubtedly make things much easier for Carr.
